Contact Lens Fitting Skills Day 2017

BCLA Fitting Skills Day
Join us on Sunday 3 December 2017 for a day of education, interaction and hands-on fitting workshops at Aston University, Birmingham.

This a one day course that will provide a unique opportunity to increase confidence in RGP, Multifocal and Toric lens fitting skills, plus offering an introduction to managing Dry Eye. The programme will combine the necessary theory on these topics, as well as providing hands-on experience for fitting lenses in practice. The introduction of product specific sessions for toric and multifocal soft lens fitting proved very popular last year so we want to build on this for 2017. Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit the exhibition to meet with our event sponsors who will be showcasing their latest products to ensure that you know what to fit and when from the range of products available. 

This event has been specifically designed for Trainee Contact Lens Opticians, Pre-Registration Optometrists, Newly Qualified Practitioners and for those individuals who are returning to contact lenses and require a refresher in lens fitting skills. Our objective is to support students prior to their assessments, as well as to offer an opportunity to promote contact lenses as a viable and commercial opportunity in real world practice.

If you require all day parking, there is a public pay and display parking available at car park 6 which is located off Woodcock Street and opens to the public for evening and weekend use. Please note that you will not be able to park directly outside the venue as this road is pedestrianized.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Any cancellations made by the delegate must be confirmed in writing to the BCLA by emailing [email protected]. Refunds of event registration fees, where applicable, less a 30 per cent administration fee charge, may be applied for until 30 November 2017. After this date no refunds will be made.  Substitutions are permitted at any time.

If you have purchased a BCLA Membership of any category, no refunds will be given once the subscription has been purchased.
