This event has been specifically designed for;
- Trainee Contact Lens Opticians
- Pre-Registration Optometrists
- Newly Qualified Practitioners
- For those individuals who are returning to contact lenses and require a refresher in lens fitting skills
The course is free for BCLA members, excluding those with either an Online Affiliate user account and Registered User account, who are welcome to attend, however the full registration rate of £35.00 will be payable. Alternatively, you can join as a member or upgrade your membership subscription to attend this event for free. Contact [email protected] for assistance.
If you are currently in your Pre-reg year or a Trainee CLO you can join as a Pre-reg member to gain access to exclusive BCLA member benefits and enable you to attend the Fitting Skills Day Course for free. You will need to provide proof of your Pre-reg/Trainee CLO status at time of joining.

Step 1: Log in to your BCLA online account.

Step 2: Once logged in, navigate back to this page and select the orange'Register Myself' button
Step 3: Submit your answers to the mandatory questions that will automatically appear. Click the orange 'Save Responses' button when answered.
Step 4: Click on the orange 'Proceed to Checkout' button, at the bottom right hand side of the page. This will take you to your shopping cart.
If you are a BCLA member, your package rate will appear as £0.00. If a fee of £35.00 appears in your cart, it means that you do not have a valid membership subscription. Please refer to membership options in step 1.
Step 5: Click the orange 'Submit Order' button.
That's it - you're done! You will receive an auto confirmation email in your inbox, please keep a copy safe for future reference. To view, download and print a copy of your booking receipt, please go to your BCLA profile, accessible by clicking the 'HI, YOUR NAME' link at the top of the BCLA web page when logged in, then click the "Print Invoice and Receipts" tab. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Any cancellations made by the delegate must be confirmed in writing to the BCLA by emailing [email protected]. Refunds of event registration fees, where applicable, less a 30 per cent administration fee charge, may be applied for until 8 November 2019. After this date no refunds will be made. Substitutions are permitted until 29 November 2019.
If you have purchased a BCLA Membership of any category, no refunds will be given once the subscription has been purchased.
