Hospital Optometry Practitioner of the Year Award

The BCLA is looking for a Hospital Optometrist who can demonstrate the important role Contact Lenses play in the management of complex corneal disease and the correction of refractive error, in patients provided with services in a Secondary Care Ophthalmology/Optometry hospital environment.

The BCLA Hospital Optometry Practitioner of the Year Award will be given to an individual working in a Hospital Setting, with a proven record in successfully managing complex corneal and refractive error patients within a hospital setting. It is aimed to honour and recognize the work of a Hospital based Contact Lens Practitioner who has improved the health, vision, and ophthalmic care of patients receiving care within a hospital setting.

Any member of the BCLA may nominate any person they feel is qualified for the award.
