Introduced in 2014, the Welcome Reception will again take place in the Exhibition Hall. Take your time to wander around the exhibition and enjoy complimentary drinks and nibbles at the BCLA Stand and visit our 2017 Exhibitors.
This event is open to all delegates, exhibition visitors and accompanying persons from 18:00 - 19:00.
BCLA 40th Anniversary Dinner
Saturday 10 June 2017, St George's Hall, Liverpool
Ticket price: £99 per person
Guests attending this event will be treated to a fantastic evening in The Great Hall (pictured) of St. George's Hall taking place on the evening of Saturday 10 June 2017. This exclusive dinner, will begin with a drinks reception on arrival, followed by a delicious three course sit down meal with wine. This is a great opportunity for conference delegates to come together to network, build new and existing relationships, to relax, enjoy dinner in beautiful surroundings and to dance the night away!
Tickets include a short coach transfer (return) from the ACC Liverpool to St. George's Hall. Dinner tickets should be purchased in advance and tickets can be collected on site at the BCLA registration desk. Note if you require additional dinner tickets please contact firstname.lastname@example.org

The Dinner will be arranged in tables of 11. Once you have purchased your tickets, you will be able to view the table plan and reserve a table online.

Reserving your table places at the Dinner
Once you have purchased your ticket(s) for the Dinner, you must reserve your table places by clicking here for the online BCLA 2017 Dinner Table Booking Form.
Please note that you will only be able to reserve a table place for a guest that has a confirmed Delegate Package and Dinner ticket purchase as you will need to give their Order Confirmation number on this reservation.
As tables are for 11 guests you can reserve up to 11 places on this online form. If you would like to reserve multiple tables (more than 11 places) please email email@example.com

Please ensure you have viewed the table plan before reserving or emailing.
Please note: places at the Dinner are limited therefore if you are reserving less than 11 places (i.e. not a full table) you may be seated with other dinner guests.

We believe attending the BCLA Conference should be as enjoyable for accompanying family members as it is for delegates! There are 2 different tours are available as well as the Welcome Reception and each are free of charge to attend.

Friday 9 June 2017 – Walking Tour (approx. 1 ½ hours)
14:15hrs Meet at the BCLA registration desk at the ACC
14:30hrs Tour departs. This tour covers the Waterfront starting from the Pullman Hotel and ending near the Liver Buildings further along the Waterfront. This is the area where Liverpool began and is rich in Maritime history and stunning architecture.
16:00hrs Arrive back at the ACC
Saturday 10 June 2017 – Walking Tour (approx. 1 ½ hours
09:45hrs Meet at the BCLA registration desk at the ACC
10:00hrs Tour departs. This tour covers the Old Dock area, the Liverpool One Complex, Sailor Town and the Commercial District which includes many of the City’s listed buildings. It will start from the Hilton Hotel which is opposite the Albert Dock about 5 mins walk from the ACC and end at the Waterfront.
13:00hrs Arrive back at the ACC
Both walks will take in 15+ sites and include historical, architectural and cultural detail. Both walks will include at least one building visit. Both tours are just over half a mile in distance.
Saturday 10 June 2017 – Movie Tour (approx. 3 hours)
10:15hrs Meet at the BCLA registration desk at the ACC
10.30hrs Guides will collect guests and take them on a guided walk through the Albert Docks and waterfront with stops at the ‘Florence Foster Jenkins’ and ‘Fast & Furious’ filming locations. Grab a coffee before getting on the coach!
2-hour filming locations coach tour visiting various locations including the Stanley docks, Bread Street, Penny Lane Development Centre, the Cathedrals, Hope Street (‘Sherlock Holmes Baker Street’) and tunnel entrances (Harry Potter)
Stop at Mathew Street to see the Eleanor Rigby and Cilla Black statues and the Cavern Wall of fame
13:30hrs Guests can either re-join the coach back to the ACC or stay in the City Centre to get their own lunch and make their own way back to the ACC
