- Fully qualified Optometrists, Contact Lens Opticians and Dispensing Opticians who have been in practice more than 2 years since qualification.
- Ophthalmologists, Hospital specialists and consultants specialising in conditions and treatments related to the anterior eye are also eligible as Full Members.
- Researchers and Academics, involved in teaching the next generation coming into the profession or researching innovative treatments and solutions for eye conditions.
- Retired professionals 60+ years with 5 consecutive years as a Full member
