BCLA Asia in conjunction with 
The West China Symposium | 8 - 10 March 2024

Following a successful event in Taiwan in 2022 the next conference in the BCLA Asia series will be in Chengdu, China, in 2024. The whole event is three days long - BCLA Asia (8 - 9 March 2024), and WCS (8 - 10 March 2024).

The conference is an opportunity to continue the impact of the eye health profession in the region and we are thrilled to be heading to China for the first time and to work in conjunction with the West China International Myopia Control and Eye Care Symposium to deliver this exciting event. It is open to all eye care professionals and is expected to attract 500+ delegates from around the world. 

The conference committees have worked hard to create a programme of important topics that will enhance your knowledge and skills to benefit eye health. Attendees can expect to see sessions blending the latest research and clinical guidance on topics including myopia control, dry eye management, contact lens care, and specialty lenses. Sessions will be in both English and Chinese to ensure we can cater for both Eastern and Western audiences. 

The exhibition will allow delegates to get ‘hands on’ with the latest products and the sponsors will update the audience as to their innovations and future strategy. There will be plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues and the wider contact lens and anterior eye community.

The BCLA Asia meeting will also include an admission for those who have completed BCLA Fellowship for 2024, an indicator of passion and commitment in the field held by over 200 professionals across the globe.
