This case study led CET session covers three people with
different low vision conditions and maps suitable technology solutions to their
needs and ambitions in life. The session presents and live demonstrates and
showcases technology and asks the delegates to select solutions that they feel
would best suit the individual and the need.
The Sight and Sound Technology team facilitate a feedback
session and then present the solutions that we feel best fit the patient.
The session is approved for 1 CET point (C-79304) for Optom and DO. You will be asked to submit your GOC number at the time of registration. Glenn is the CEO of Sight and Sound Technology, he facilitates the session. Glenn has owned the company for 13 years and has a great deal of experience in low vision technology for end users and for business and education markets.
Previously Glenn spent 21 years at BT, covering sales, marketing and product develop roles before heading the Business Telewest Communications, the cable TV / Telephony company.
Tony is a Territory sales manager at Sight and Sound Technology, he has worked in the low vision industry as a consultant, salesman and as a trainer for over 27 years. Tony has a wide knowledge of technology and solutions for people who are blind and visually impaired.
